NVIDIA nForce ® MCPs and AMD Athlon ™ 64 Fx-60 Dual-Core Processor Provide Powerful Pair for Gaming Platforms

THEALE, ENGLAND, -JANUARY 11, 2006- NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies, today announced that it's award-winning NVIDIA nForce4 media and communications processors (MCPs), for AMD64 platforms, will be supporting the new AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core processor.

The strong combination of NVIDIA nForce core-logic solutions with the AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core processor-based systems solidifies the PC as an ultimate gaming platform. The dual-core capabilities of the new AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 processor, combined with the advanced architecture of the NVIDIA nForce4 MCPs and support for the acclaimed NVIDIA SLI™ multi-Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) technology, provide the technological foundation for driving today's most sophisticated games and demanding digital media applications, including high-definition video.

In addition, the advanced security and storage capabilities, including support for RAID 5 and next-generation SATA 3G/sec. hard drives, makes the NVIDIA nForce4 MCP-based platforms the must have for all PC enthusiasts.
