Deep Learning for Healthcare Image Analysis

EVENT OVERVIEW

AI is reshaping the healthcare industry. GPU-accelerated deep learning solutions are used to design more sophisticated neural networks for healthcare and medical research applications, from pathology to clinical care to imaging.

This hands-on course explores how to apply Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to medical images. First, attendees will create a deep learning architecture to classify labeled images. In the second section, participants will then train networks to segment those images into their constituent features.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply CNNs to conduct classification and segmentation to a variety of medical imaging data.

Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision or similar experience. 

This event is only available to those attending the MICCAI 2018, the 21st International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer-Assisted Intervention, which will be held from September 16-20, 2018 in Granada, Spain.
