Windows Vista Development

Windows Vista will introduce the largest discontinuity in the Windows family since Windows 95 by using the GPU more intensely than any other Operating System. Developers can use Windows Graphics Foundation 2.0 (Direct3D10) to generate cutting-edge 3D graphics, but also to perform massively parallel computations such as Image Processing.

NVIDIA is working closely with Microsoft to develop and support key display components of the Windows Vista OS and offers a complete top-to-bottom lineup of NVIDIA® GeForce™ graphics processing units (GPUs) that will take full advantage of the new Windows Vista features and functionality when the final OS is released.
