In an industry first, NVIDIA designed the Tegra processors to give each of multiple simultaneous applications its own “virtual GPU.” This vital evolution in media-acceleration sophistication has been combined with OpenKODE extensions from NVIDIA that enable user interfaces to take full advantage of graphics and video acceleration while providing sophisticated 3D transitions and navigation between multiple applications.
