SECO is pleased to announce a new product line featuring NVIDIA’s graphics processing unit (GPU) technology to deliver unmatched performance for the embedded market

Nürnberg — Embedded World 2010 — 2nd to 4th March, 2010 — SECO, a leading Italian company for embedded solutions, has today unveiled new hardware platforms exploiting NVIDIA’s the technology expertise. This new family of products will revolutionise final application systems in markets including industrial, medical, automotive, transportation, telecommunication and infotainment.

The premier product in this range is the SECOMExp-ION. It is a modular solution in COM ExpressTM form factor that combines the Atom N family CPU with the power of the MMP9 embedded NVIDIA® ION™ chipset. The extraordinary performance of this chipset’s 16 cores will allow application suites to benefit from accelerated data processing and high graphical resolution.

Thanks to NVIDIA’s technology, the SECOMExp-ION is able to offer the best performance/cost ratio available in the embedded market without compromising on power consumption. What’s more, it has been designed to help manufactures reduce time to market for their solutions.
