CompleX

Expanding scene size possibilities with NVIDIA Quadro Plex visual computing solutions
The NVIDIA® CompleX scene scaling engine maintains interactivity for large scenes as they exceed the limits of a single GPU, allowing massive data sets to be explored without having to work piecemeal. The CompleX engine maintains productivity with extremely large scenes by harnessing the full memory and highly scalable performance of multiple GPUs within NVIDIA® Quadro® Plex visual computing systems. As an example, a CompleX-powered application running on the four GPUs within a single Quadro Plex system typically delivers 15 to 25 times faster performance than on a single GPU.

The CompleX engine also works perfectly in conjunction with Quadro Plex scalable visualization systems to deliver large scale visualization from a single workstation. The CompleX engine supports ultra-high resolutions with finely tuned data transfers, empowering applications to deliver immersive 3D stereo graphics at fully interactive rates for very large scenes.

As an NVIDIA acceleration engine, software developers can freely use CompleX within their products to make massive scenes interactive, knowing that capabilities will only increase as both the CompleX engine and Quadro Plex solutions continue to evolve. The CompleX engine can be adopted by any product using OpenGL for its interactive display, and can be enabled immediately by an application using the NVIDIA® SceniX™ acceleration engine.
